Me!!

An Introduction... I am a 55 year old wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, daughter, friend... I have 3 kids of my own, a stepson, and lots of kids who call me mom that I love. I remarried April 22, 2017 to a wonderful, sweet, loving, supportive man. I live with him in a small town with our dog, Mojo, and our cat, Lucy. I have 13 grandchildren, 8 from my kids and 5 from my son's girlfriend. The three youngest are in our custody for now, since June 3, 2017. We got married in April, bought a house in May, and voila! 3 grandkids living with us. At the time they were 1, 2 and 4. They are now 2, 3, and almost 5. It has been a year of ups and downs, but more of that later. I have been a bookkeeper for a company that builds, manages, and owns senior communities. Some are independent, some assisted, and some memory care. I have been there 10 years next month. The people there are great and I enjoy working there. It is quite the commute though, and hour and 15 to an hour and a half one way. I just became the bookkeeper trainer a couple months ago and love it. It gives me some freedom when the kids are sick to stay home. I love meeting new people and helping them grow in their jobs. I love animals. We may end up getting a dog buddy for Mojo after we get a fence up. Lucy will most likely be my last cat because my stepson is allergic. I crochet a lot. I love making blankets, hats, washcloths, lots of stuff for people, mostly family. I always dream I will sell my creations sometime, but haven't gotten brave enough yet. I do get lots of compliments on the things I do make. I love music. I enjoy watching shows on Netflix and finding new shows to watch. We are in the middle of "This Is Us", but have watched lots of others. Frankie & Grace, Orange is the New Black, Sons of Anarchy, Hell on Wheels, and The Ranch have all been ones I have watched and really liked. It is always fun to find good ones. Well enough for now. Will try to make this a habit...a good way to get emotions out and fun stories to share. I am a very emotional person and don't always hide it well. Don't know if anyone will read this or not, but it will be a good way to get some things off my chest at times.
